At The Grosvenor Practice, appointments are designed to allow time for thoughtful, unhurried care. Our consultation fees include routine prescriptions, referral letters and standard administrative tasks generated during your appointment.
All of our private GP Consultation can be carried out Face-to-Face as a video call or over the phone.
*15-minute follow-up appointments can only be booked after an initial 30-minute appointment and should relate to the same problem.
Prices vary depending on distance by road from the practice postcode, SP1 3SL.
Discounts apply for Health Plan subscribers.
The cost of blood tests varies depending on the investigations required. Your GP will discuss costs with you before arranging them.
* If your ECG or spirometry is carried out on a separate day, a standard appointment fee will also apply. This may be a 15-minute, 30-minute or 60-minute appointment depending on what is required.
At present, we are unable to insert contraceptive coils or contraceptive implants for contraception. This includes hormonal coils such as Mirena® and Kyleena®, non-hormonal copper coils and contraceptive implants.
Coils for heavy menstrual bleeding or menopause care may still be inserted where clinically appropriate.
Where possible, if a lesion can be treated during the initial appointment, Dr Pemsel will do this. However, it may be necessary to carry out CryoPen® treatment at a separate appointment. If this is required, standard appointment fees will also apply.
As a guide, 1–2 lesions can usually be treated within a 15-minute appointment, while 3–5 lesions can usually be treated within a 30-minute appointment. The number of lesions suitable for treatment will be confirmed during your assessment.
All patients must have an initial assessment before a joint injection is performed.
Please note: if you have not previously had a B12 injection at The Grosvenor Practice, you will need to book an initial 30-minute GP appointment first. We require evidence of a vitamin B12 blood test within the last 3 months before administration.
Where a form or report can be completed during a standard 30-minute appointment, this is included within the appointment fee. Additional charges may apply for reviewing lengthy paperwork, amendments, extensions or further documentation completed outside the appointment.
Repeat prescription charges are waived for patients who subscribe to one of our Health Plans. Pharmacy medication and dispensing charges still apply.
Referral letters generated during your consultation are included within your appointment fee. Referral charges are waived for patients who subscribe to one of our Health Plans.
