Weight loss is not simply about willpower. Appetite, hormones, metabolism, lifestyle, sleep, stress, medications and underlying health conditions can all play a part.
Our approach is designed to understand your individual health, identify any relevant risk factors and support you with realistic, sustainable changes.
Where appropriate, treatment may include GLP-1-based weight-loss injections alongside nutrition advice, activity guidance and regular medical review.
As part of our weight-loss programme, some patients may be supported with modern injectable medications used in the management of obesity, including Mounjaro® and Wegovy®.
These treatments act on gut-derived hormones involved in appetite regulation, digestion and glucose metabolism.
All injectable treatments are administered weekly and are most effective when combined with healthy lifestyle changes.
Suitability and choice of medication is determined following a full clinical assessment.
A dual-acting incretin treatment that targets both GLP-1 and GIP hormone pathways. This dual mechanism can support appetite regulation, satiety and glucose metabolism in suitable patients.
A GLP-1 receptor agonist that mimics the action of naturally occurring hormones that play a key role in appetite and blood sugar control.
Suitability for weight-loss treatment is confirmed following a full clinical assessment.
A safe, structured pathway with regular medical input throughout.
Treatment is only offered if safe and appropriate. If you have had relevant blood tests within the last 3 months, these may be taken into account.
A 30-minute face-to-face consultation with a GP. Your doctor will review your medical history, discuss your goals, assess your suitability for treatment and arrange any necessary monitoring.
Ongoing review is an important part of safe and effective weight-loss treatment. They allow your GP to assess your response to the treatment.
